Emergency First Aid
An eight-hour introductory program which covers basic first aid procedures.
In this course you will cover the following:
- Splinting
- Bandaging / Wound Care
- Legal Implications
- Shock, unresponsiveness, fainting
- Bleeding control
- Spinal / head injuries
- Cardiovascular emergencies
- Basic knowledge of the respiratory system
- Artificial respirations
- Breathing emergencies
- Barrier devices
- Recovery position
- AED instruction
- The Heartsaver - Level 'B' CPR is included with this program. This can be upgraded to a level 'C' for a nominal charge.
